A successful Breakfast starts with YOU
Monday, November 2, 2015

Room at the Inn is seeking enthusiastic volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of homeless families by joining our Breakfast with the INN Crowd 2016 committee.

We are looking for volunteers from all walks of life who enjoy meeting new people and seek new ways to discover the rewarding experience of giving back to the community.

Committee members meet once a month from now through May 2016. Meetings are held at Room at the Inn, in Bridgeton. Committee leaders are very respectful of volunteer time and work hard to keep meetings brief and efficient – from one hour to one hour and a half, max. Jobs  vary –  from seeking ads and sponsorships, to selling breakfast tickets and helping promote the  annual fundraiser.

Those interested can contact Colleen Price via email at cprice@lpp-room.org, or call (314) 209-9181. A kick-off  Breakfast Committee meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 in Ketteler Hall (Room at the Inn location) – 3415 Bridgeland Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044 (food and refreshments provided).

With your help, energy and compassion, you can help Room at the Inn’s Breakfast achieve its eighth year of success for the hundreds of homeless women and families seeking a future and a purpose.

Room at the Inn is an emergency shelter for homeless women and families in St. Louis County. We provide our clients with safe, clean shelter, food, transportation, personal items and case management. We serve more than 200 people each year, about half of whom are children. We support each individual as they determine the causes of their homelessness and develop a personalized plan back to being self-sufficient.
