Cindy Warren is the volunteer coordinator at Room at the Inn. She has been with our agency for five years. She conducts interviews of new volunteers, maintains volunteer records, and schedules all individual and group volunteer service. Cindy helped our volunteer program receive certification with United Way. She enjoys working with the variety of volunteers that come to Room at the Inn, and shares volunteer happenings on social media. In addition to coordinating volunteers, Cindy oversees the tutoring program and supervises and schedules the evening innkeepers. Also, she works closely with administration for special events.

Cindy has two bachelor's degrees. One is in family services and the other is in education. She is a licensed elementary teacher with her master's in education. She taught 11 years at Dexter R-XI School District in Dexter, Missouri and one year at a private school on the island of Saipan. She is married to Phil Warren, who is a full time General Baptist pastor, currently serving at Mount Zion in Granite City. Together they have 6 children, and 12 grandchildren. Besides spending time with her large family, Cindy enjoys playing the piano and working in her flower garden.
